What a great day! All the boys and girls looked amazing!
Our chosen book for World Book Day was "The Tiger Who Came to Tea". As well as reading it during the week, we had lots of themed activities today: we made and decorated our own tiger handprints; we learned a song from the musical of the book and we also worked together to make the Tiger's favourite - jam sandwiches! We also used different construction toys and paper to make an enclosure for a tiger and the things it would need.
Imagine how surprised we were after dinner when we found our very own tea party - with tiger paw biscuits and tiger paw crisps too! We think the Tiger sneaked in while we were in the playground!!
We finished off making tiger faces on oranges to bring home. We all had a "tiger-iffic" day - a "roaring" success!
