We had great fun in school today celebrating World Book Day.
- We enjoyed meeting up to read with some of the boys and girls in P1.
- We had fun meeting a real author and illustrator online who told us all about her brand new book, Nina Peanut and even taught us how to draw some of the characters from her book.
- We worked together to solve the clues in Mrs Parker’s ‘Guess the teacher and what they are reading’ competition.
- We got super competitive in our house teams to participate in the ‘Big KS2 World Book Day Quiz 2024’.
Finally,
- Throughout the week we got creative designing a new front cover for our favourite books using Adobe Express - with some outstanding and extremely professional looking pieces of work that would not look out of place in Waterstones. Well done, boys and girls 👏🏼🌟🙌🏻.
