Tír Na Nóg GFC have had a weekly presence in our school since September 2023 via their ‘Games Development Team’, conisting of senior players Conor Curran, Conan Judge and Eoin Breen.
Conor's position is a full-time, jointly funded role, via the Department for Communities and Healthy Kidz. It primarily focuses on bringing the sport of Gaelic Football to local primary and secondary schools in the surrounding Portadown area.
In St John the Baptist PS and Bunscoil Eoin Baiste, every child has been able to take part and develop their gaelic football skills, through weekly PE sessions.
All pupils are encouraged to build on the great work going on by joining the club, where training takes place weekly. Games are also soon to commence as the new season gets underway. Please see details for each age group, both boys and girls.
