As part of the “Bridge to France” 🇫🇷 Project, Primary 7 were given a 10 minute challenge to build the tallest tower using cards, that was still standing at the end of the 10 minutes! It reinforced how essential the centre of gravity is when designing a structure of any height.
The winning tower was approximately 58cm tall, narrowly beating a similar 6-level structure by cleverly creating a final “peak”!
This project continued with a bridge building challenge, led by staff from W5, Belfast - more photos of that to follow!!
