Teacher Strike Action

As you may be aware, the teaching trade unions in the north have indicated they will withdraw their labour on the morning of Tuesday 21 February 2023. After carefully assessing the impact the strike will have on the safe supervision of the children without teaching staff, the decision has been made to remain closed to children that morning.

The boys and girls should attend school at 12:15 when a hot school dinner will be made available to those entitled to free school meals and to those who notify the school they wish to pay for lunch.

We apologise for the disruption the strike may have but trust you will be supportive of the teachers’ actions in the hope their demands will be met.
