Talk PANTS Fortnight
Dear Parent/Guardian,
This May we will be supporting the first ever NI wide Talk PANTS fortnight in school.
Through discussions and activities in class we will aim to teach our pupils important safety skills without giving explicit information.
We will be teaching our pupils the NSPCC’s, Talk PANTS rules using the PANTS acrostic, which is like a green cross code message, designed to help children stay safe from sexual abuse.
PANTS stands for:
- Privates are private
- Always remember your body belongs to you
- No means no
- Talk about secrets that upset you
- Speak up someone can help
