Our previous and current Student Council had the opportunity to meet with Minister O'Dowd (Minister of Infrastructure) to discuss the 20mph speed limit scheme for our school. The boys and girls spoke very passionately about this and the Minister was very impressed with their knowledge, research and delivery. Whilst we didn't necessarily achieve the outcome we had hoped for, it is a step in the right direction. Minister O'Dowd has told us he is willing to pass on our concerns and work with us on our road safety initiatives.
Well done to all of the boys and girls involved, we are so proud of your hard work and how you conducted yourselves during such an important meeting with the minister.
