As part of our ‘Keeping Safe’ topic we went for a walk along Garvaghy Road. We made sure that we walked well away from the kerb and we held our partners hand. When we got to the traffic lights, we pressed the button and waited for the green man. Before we started to cross, we looked left and right to make sure that the traffic had stopped. There were lots of other roads that we had to cross that didn’t have any traffic lights so we had to make sure that we were listening out for traffic and looking around us before we crossed. Lots of our mums and dads spotted us and they gave us a beep and a wave 👋
