Today our Primary 4 classes came together with Salam’s family in Portadown People’s Park to officially mark the unveiling of ‘Salam’s Special Space’. It was an emotional morning where we remembered our girl who loved playing in this very park, drawing, colouring in and most of all, her family.
This bench is located on the hill overlooking the small lake - just at the entry way near The Beeches.
A special word of thanks to Neill McKinstry and Brian Carvill who graciously gave of their time to help our school remember Salam in this way.
We encourage all of our pupils to take some time to visit, sit and remember a little girl who was loved so very much by us all 🩷
