As part of our ‘Road Safety’ topic we went for a walk along Garvaghy Road to put into practice what we had been learning about in the classroom. We wore our brightly coloured hi-vis vests and held our partners hand. When walking along the pavement we stayed well away from the road. As we crossed the roads we remembered to stop, look and listen. We enjoyed waving to the mums, dads, grannies and grandads who beeped as they drove past us.
