As part of our ‘Road Safey’ topic we went for a walk along Garvaghy Road this morning. Before we set off we wrote out the instructions we were going to follow to ensure we cross the road safely. When we got to the traffic lights, we pressed the button and waited for the green man. Before we started to cross, we looked left and right to make sure that the traffic had stopped. There were lots of other roads that we had to cross that didn’t have any traffic lights so we had to make sure that we were listening out for traffic and looking around us before we crossed. We all did such a great job at following our road safety rules!
