Primary 6 were very fortunate to have a visit from Orla from Young Enterprise. Linked to our topic of The Rainforest the children learned about what countries of the world rely on each other for resources. They simulated the decisions that countries and businesses make and broadened their understanding of import and export. The children were then introduced to the steps needed to set up their own business and how to trade internationally. This was such an educational and enjoyable experience for all.
