Today we joined our friends from Edenderry Primary School at the Navan Centre in Armagh to participate in a poetry workshop. This year's theme for Poetry week was Truth’. We identified the difference between ‘little lies’ and ‘big lies’ and how these were told by various countries for protection and power during World War 1. We listened to ancient crimes and learned who was the guilty or innocent party. Lastly, we enhanced a piece of writing using our senses and various descriptive techniques.
