Paper tube challenge

Can you create a structure from paper to support the weight of a P7 pupil? 

That was the challenge we faced this week. We learned that by joining many tubular structures together a lot more weight can be supported. This shows how steel wires grouped together can be very strong for use in suspension bridges.
