As part of our ‘Green Day’ celebrations, the P7/R7 children were invited to St. John the Baptist College to participate in some eco-club activities.
The children,
- Took part in a litter pick around the school
- Planted their own sunflowers 🌻 to take home.
- Searched for mini-beasts in the trees
and
- Planted some flowers and vegetables in the school grounds.
The children had a brilliant day and every child was rewarded for their hard work with an Easter egg and shamrock plant!
Many thanks to all the staff and pupils at St John the Baptist College for such a warm welcome, delicious treats and a full filled morning!
