P7 Bridge Engineering Challenge 🌉
13th Sep 2024
Our P7 pupils were given the opportunity to don their engineering hats and complete a bridge building challenge using K’NEX.
Working collaboratively and without any prior learning in this subject or even any instructions, the children were asked to design and build a free standing bridge capable of supporting a weight.
We were blown away by the children's’ creativity, ability to work together and outstanding finished bridges - certainly a few budding engineers for the future.
Over the next few weeks we will be learning more about different types of bridges in a fun and practical way involving many more engineering challenges. Be sure to check out what we get up to.
