Northern Ireland Childminding Association Update
The Northern Ireland Childminding Association (NICMA) has just out the following information:
**NOTICE FOR PARENTS**
It has come to our attention that a lot of adverts have started to appear for 'non registered childminders' or 'babysitters' offering their services to parents during this uncertain time.
We would like to advise you so that you can make the best decision that will protect your children. Always make sure that your children are with a registered childminder, this means that the childminder will have all their current training (i.e. Safeguarding, Health and Safety and First Aid), they have insurance and they (as well as everyone in their home) has been vetted and police checked.
We are now offering a service for parents looking for temporary childcare. If this is something that you need please call us on 02891811015, Monday to Friday 9am-4pm. One of our team members will be able to help you get into contact with a registered childminder in your area.
If you are a childminder and have vacancies please complete the survey or send an email to info@nicma.org stating your
