This morning p7Q were treated to a fantastic session learning Judo with Sensei Joseph in the Drumcree Centre!
We began by learning some basic Japanese commands such as;
- Begin – Hajime
- Stop - mate
- Grip - kumikata
We then used this learning to play a game of ‘Sensei says’!
After this, we progressed to learning how to land safely and the first “throw” (ogoshi) and “scarf hold” (Kesa-gatame) and “body drop” (tai-otishi)
Everybody had a brilliant time!
