Thanks to an opportunity provided by Drumcree Community Centre, P7B enjoyed an excellent morning learning some basics in Judo with Sensei Joseph.
We began with some commands and a game of “Sensei says” -
- Begin – Hajime
- Stop - mate
- Grip - kumikata
Then we progressed to learning how to land safely and the first “throw” (ogoshi) and “scarf hold” (Kesa-gatame) and “body drop” (tai-otishi)
Everybody had a fantastic time and we are looking forward to a second session next week.
