Hello everyone in Primary 3
I am missing you all so very much, all your smiles and your lovely number work and sentences that you do first thing in the morning. Remember to keep all your letters on the lines, when you are doing your writing and it will be so good. I’m sorry I can’t give you any cubes but why don’t you do it yourself-just draw the number of cubes you think you deserve beside any work you do. Try and practise all the number skills set out in your homework folders, which should bring you up to Easter. I did so love to play that game with you of adding up in 2s and taking away in 2s. It really made you think. It made me think as well. If you can do that, try moving on to adding and subtracting in 5s. Then try 3s and 4s and the other suggested mental maths tasks. That should put you in a good position for your next year. If you look at the Primary 3 website section, I have added some very good phonics booklets. Some are easier and some are more difficult. Why not have a go and do some of these. This year, I have been so pleased with everyone’s effort in all your work. Reading, writing, number work and also your colourful artwork. I really loved all your beautiful singing. I can still hear it now. The next time I see you, you will all have grown so much. But I hope this time at home will help you realise that your school does want to help you as much as possible, in all your work, but also to be the best person that you can be. Thank you God for such a wonderful class of boys and girls.
From your lucky teacher,
Mr. D. Maginn
