We hope you are all having a wonderful summer.
The office was asked recently about the return to school date and so just in case holidays are being planned and mums and dads are making sure the boys and girls are back to school on time:
The year 2 - year 7 children return for two half days on Thursday 29 August and Friday 30 August until noon.
Regarding our year one children, please refer to your child's unique start date; half of the year ones will come to school for the very first time on the Thursday and the other half will arrive on the Friday, and will stay with us until 11am.
From Monday 2 September and for one week, the year one children stay until 11:45am.
From Monday 9 September our year one children stay for dinner and leave at 12:30pm.
From Monday 16 September our year one children enjoy a full day until 2:00pm.
(Again, individual families have previously been given unique starting times and dates when it was deemed to be appropriate).
The first full day for years 2 to 7 is Monday 2 September when dinners will be available for the first time this year.
Reminder: May we ask that applications for free school meals are made over the coming days to ensure applications are processed by the Education Authority on time. If applications are not processed prior to 2 September, dinners should be paid for each child please.
Reminder for those children moving into P4 agus R4: We close each Friday at 2pm
Please note school is closed for staff training on 16 September.
