Happy Easter!

Hello boys and girls, 

A few weeks ago we talked all about Lent and we decided in our class that we would try our best to be ‘kind, caring and gentle’ and I’m sure you have all been trying extra hard especially over the past couple of weeks. 
Now Lent is coming to an end we are now in a very special week called Holy Week. During this week we remember Jesus having a special meal on Holy Thursday, Jesus dying on the cross on Good Friday and Jesus rising from the dead on Easter Sunday. This can be a difficult story for young children to understand but if mum or dad go online there are lots of stories explaining the events of Holy Week. 
Unfortunately this year we aren’t going to be able to do all our lovely Easter activities in school but I’m sure you will all have a lovely time at home with your family. 

Please remember to post some photographs on our class page on the website I would love to see what you are all doing. 

Get mum or dad to have a look on the Homework page for P1 there are some wee activities you could carry out at home. 

Have a lovely Easter. Stay safe and be good! Don’t eat too many Easter eggs!!!
