Over 300 of our grandparents joined us for Grandparents’ Day last week. The theme of Catholic Schools’ Week was Communities of Service and we recognised our grandparents as being central to our wider family communities. Our choir, our harpists and our wonderful P7s/R7s treated us all to an unforgettable morning of music, fun, song and a beautiful assembly which plucked more than one or two heartstrings. Afterwards, our grandparents took the opportunity to visit their grandchildren in their classrooms where they were treated to some bingo as gaeilge, some gifts and some artwork. A great time was had by all.
