Continuing our “Bridge to France” topic, children were challenged to explore the strength of the triangle when constructing a TRUSS bridge. They used blu tac and cocktail sticks to create sections of bridge supports - it was tricky to create stability but pupils realised that triangles add strength. Some create engineering ‘trial and error’ on show.
