As part of our World Around Us, we have been exploring the topic of energy.
Today we took part in a ‘fair test’ scientific investigation to see what conditions plants need in order to grow and survive.
Each group was given a different set of conditions (variables) to test. In a fair test only 1 variable can be changed. So the 3 different experiments we will be investigating are;
- Water, heat, light and compost.
- No water, heat, light and compost.
- Water, heat, no light and compost.
We have made predictions as to what we think will happen to our seeds and we will keep checking our pots over the next few weeks.
