Eco Council assembly
On Thursday, the Eco Council addressed the whole school at assembly. They wanted to inform pupils and staff about one of the themes they have been focusing on in their eco meetings- 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle'. Our council members spoke about the problems that littering can cause to both nature and wildlife and the importance of recycling or reusing items we no longer need. They informed us of the 'Cash for Clobber' scheme which our school is taking part in and asked pupils to bring in any clean clothes or textiles they no longer need. This scheme repurposes such items and helps raise money for our school in the process. The assembly concluded with the Eco Council singing our school eco song. Well done Eco Council!
