A follow up visit from Jamie at the Amma Centre allowed for students to build on last weeks coding lesson. We were able to combine our ICT skills with our World Around Us topic of the Vikings. In pairs the students created a game using Scratch Jnr software. They were able to add in their own art work and create digital characters/backgrounds, all whilst making each move around the screen. All students loved these interactive lessons and have gained some very valuable skills. We may have a few future gaming programmers on our hands.
