We travelled to the Palace Stables in Armagh to learn about Christmas through the Ages. We met a cook from long ago who made us yummy mince pies and a soldier who showed us war time toys. In the craft room, we made Christmas robins to decorate our trees at home. Our favourite part of the trip was waking up Santa who was napping in the living room. We each jumped up on the sofa beside him and told him what we would like for Christmas. Santa listened carefully and gave us a Christmas pencil to take home. What a great school trip!
