Continuing the “Bridge to France” project, children were challenged to explore the strength of the triangle when constructing a TRUSS bridge. They used marshmallows and cocktail sticks to create sections of bridge supports!
Some of us very quickly discovered that an x shape was more successful in being able to create a structure capable of supporting a weight!
