We were delighted to welcome Mr Francis Hagan, our parish Sacristan, to our school assembly on Thursday 7th March to show us his Benemerenti Medal. Francis was awarded this medal by Pope Francis for all his hard work, commitment and dedication to our parish of Drumcree. We are most appreciative in St. John the Baptist for all the support that Francis provides in helping to prepare our children for various religious occasions. He is certainly a worthy recipient of this honour - congratulations Francis!
