Autumn - P1MD 🍁🍂
The children have enjoyed the beginning of our autumn topic by exploring lots of natural resources such as leaves, acorns, chestnuts and pine cones. When learning the Incy Wincy Spider nursery rhyme, some children commented that lots of spiders come out during autumn and they decided to make their own play dough spiders. One girl said that a spider in her house had more than 8 legs!!! They are excited to see what they can find on our autumn walk and to learn about hedgehogs and squirrels as well as pumpkins and apples. 🍏 🎃🐿️ 🦔
In preparation for Spring, the boys and girls planted some daffodil bulbs in our outdoor area. We just need to be patient for a few months and wait for them to grow!
