Today we completed our 6th and final challenge in the Bridge to France project!
Our focus was to experiment the strength of a suspension bridge such as the impressive Millau Viaduct in Southern France!
Once again, working in teams we created a structure and put our learning to the test! We were amazed to find out that our suspension bridge structure could actually hold more weight than a beam bridge structure despite using the majority of the same materials!
Next week we will put all our learning into practice as we will build our own 1m long bridge, before heading off to W5 for a celebration day to mark the end of a brilliant and fun filled project!
