Today 49 P7 children, armed with our chosen bridge (Le Pont du St Jean) descended upon W5 for the climax of our Bridge to France project!
This has been a fantastic and very memorable project from start to finish! The children have been given the opportunity to learn about France, French traditions, unique bridges in France and also learn some basic French words and phrases!
The children should also be commended for their motivation, creativity and dedication throughout the past number of weeks!
In the end, our bridge was beaten into 2nd place, losing out by only 1 point to the eventual winners! Despite this, the P7 children should feel very proud of all their efforts and achievements since the project began last December!
No visit to W5 however, would be complete without checking out the fun exhibitions available and so, after the competition had ended, we were able to have fun exploring all that W5 had to offer!
What a brilliant ending to a fantastic project!
