World Book Day takes place on Thursday 6th March with the emphasis on making it ‘Read your way, this World Book Day’. We hope you’ll join us as we come together to celebrate this special day in school.
To make World Book Day in school extra special we are encouraging all children to share their favourite books by dressing up. This can be done in one of two ways:
- Dress up as your favourite book character and take your book to school to share why this is so
or
- Wear your comfiest reading clothes to school and listen while teachers read their favourite stories.
There will be lots of fun activities for the children taking place in classes throughout World Book Day.
Remember to also redeem your £1 book token from your nearest participating bookseller. In addition, you can check out the World Book Day Family Hub for more activities to complete at home.
We are really looking forward to celebrating World Book Day as a school community.
