As December unfolds, our school is bustling with the joy and excitement of the festive season! We are thrilled to present to you the upcoming Christmas events that promise delightful experiences for our children. Please update your calendars with these important dates to ensure you and your family enjoy every moment of this magical time.
1. Christmas Craft Fair - Saturday 30th November
Mark this date to attend our Christmas Fair from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the school grounds. There will be stalls with crafts, delicious food and exciting games. A special guest from the North Pole will even make an appearance!
2. Dráma na Nollag - Wednesday, 4th December
Our Rang 1 agus 2 children will get you all in a festive mood with their Christmas Drama, in the school assembly hall, beginning at 10am.
3. Primary 1 Christmas Show - Tuesday, 10th December
Our Primary 1 children have prepared a medley of Christmas songs for their families to raise your festive spirits, this begins at 9.30am in the school assembly hall.
4. The Nativity by Primary 2 - Wednesday, 11th December
Let our Primary 2 children retell the story of the birth of Jesus in their Christmas production of 'The Nativity' in our school assembly hall at 10am.
5. Christmas Dinner/Christmas Jumper Day – Thursday, 12th December
Our wonderful kitchen staff will prepare a delicious festive lunch for the children. Let us all get into the festive spirit by letting the children wear their favourite Christmas jumpers to school. It is a fun day full of smiles, bright outfits and scrumptious food. School closes for all children at 1.30pm.
6. School Carol Service – Monday, 16th December
Our Carol Service is a wonderful occasion for everyone to come together and enjoy the beautiful singing of our talented children. Join us in St John the Baptist Church at 6:00PM for an enchanting evening of music and prayers. It is an event not to be missed! Immediately after, you are invited back to school for light refreshments and a visit to your child's classroom.
7. Christmas Concert - Tuesday, 17th December
Join us at 6pm in the school assembly hall for our first ever Christmas concert, with performances from our school choir, talented musicians and recently created, staff choir.
8. Class Parties
Each class will have its own party to celebrate the end of term. Teachers will share details about plans specific to each year group. It will surely be a festive finale before the holidays begin.
9. Last Day of Term – Friday, 20th December
Our final day sees us close at 11:00 AM.
